Lodging: This is setting perfect for a vacation where you can rough it in comfort and leave the rest of the world behind. Our cabins are of log construction built in the true Montana style. Homemade furniture and quilts made right here on the ranch grace each one. The cabins have private baths, most with tub/shower combinations and range from single bedroom up to three or four bedroom cabins to accommodate larger family groups. Most are heated with wood stoves.
Kids' Program: Mom and Dad will find their responsibilities very limited with lots of time to follow their own interests knowing that their children are well cared for and happy. The Kiddie Wrangler and Babysitter are here to make your vacation a great one as well. The Kiddie Wrangler takes charge of the six to nine year olds teaching them to ride and leading the Rough Riders on their own daily trail rides. The Babysitter looks after those children under six on the playground or at the barn with a short lead ride around the pasture. The weekly picnic with a marshmallow roast is a hit with all the kids. Kids will forget TV and be involved with new activities in this land of cowboys and cowgirls.
Food/Dining: Meals are served in the Dining Room and are homecooked, family style… very informal with no dressing up for dinner expected. Several outdoor meals are scheduled each week including a late afternoon ride to dinner. Tables are grouped to match children’s age brackets… teenagers with teenagers, and “small fry” with the Kiddie Wrangler and Babysitter. Adults are shifted with place markings for social variety. Dinner is served early to the children while Mom and Dad are relaxing and enjoying Happy Hour in the rustic lounge. We furnish only the ice and mixes (BYOB).
